Our Verdict

Consider it if you want an iron-free, vegetarian two-capsule multi with active B12 and B6 and chelated minerals. The folate is half folic acid by label, the men's extras are small, and no testing seal covers this product.

Most of the label is in the better forms: B12 as methylcobalamin, B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, D as cholecalciferol, K as menatetrenone, selenium as L-selenomethionine, and zinc, copper and molybdenum as chelates. The score is held down by the folate, which is folic acid plus L-5-methylfolate with no amounts split out (Pietrzik 2010), and by magnesium oxide and calcium carbonate for those two minerals.

Folate and B12
1,360 mcg DFE folate from folic acid and L-5-methylfolate calcium (split not stated); B12 36 mcg as methylcobalamin; B6 7.5 mg as pyridoxal-5-phosphate
Minerals
Zinc 15 mg, copper 1 mg and molybdenum 70 mcg as chelates; selenium 40 mcg as L-selenomethionine; magnesium 100 mg as oxide; calcium 80 mg as carbonate and phosphate; manganese gluconate; iodine 150 mcg
Fat-soluble vitamins
A 1,120 mcg RAE as retinyl palmitate and beta carotene, D 50 mcg (2,000 IU) as cholecalciferol, E 58 mg as d-alpha tocopheryl succinate, K 60 mcg as menatetrenone

Doses are moderate and nothing is near an upper limit except niacin: vitamin A is 124% of the Daily Value, D is 250% (2,000 IU), E is 387% and iodine, zinc, copper and manganese sit at 100 to 136%. Several B vitamins run at 385 to 1,500% DV, which is less than the Thorne panel carries for thiamin and riboflavin. Niacin is printed simply as 35 mg, which equals the adult upper limit for supplemental niacin. It is more restrained than NOW ADAM, which carries 3,000 mcg of vitamin A and 100 mg of vitamin E.

No seal is printed on the pack, and the product is not on NSF's Certified for Sport or NSF/ANSI 173 listings, where other NAKED products appear. The brand FAQ says an unnamed US lab tests its products and its facilities are GMP certified, and that lab reports are not shared. None of that can be checked for this bottle, so it scores below the in-house GMP picks that name a program.

$29.99 for 30 days is $1.00 a day, or $0.90 with Subscribe and Save. That is close to Thorne at about $1.07, which has methylfolate only and an NSF seal, and well above NOW ADAM at about $0.49. We score it on a par with the other products near $1.00 a day that lack a seal.

Truth Check

Marketing Claims Vs. Reality

Verified
Iron-free multivitamin and multimineral

The panel lists no iron.

Verified
12 vitamins, 8 minerals

The panel has 12 vitamins (A, C, D, E, K, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folate, B12, pantothenic acid) and 8 minerals (calcium, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, molybdenum).

Partial
High-potency men's multivitamin

The vitamins run from 124% to 1,500% of the Daily Value, but calcium is 6%, magnesium 24%, selenium 73% and vitamin K 50%, and the botanicals are small. The doses are moderate rather than high.

Partial
Optimal methylation with CoQ10

B12 is methylcobalamin, B6 is pyridoxal-5-phosphate and part of the folate is L-5-methylfolate. Part of the folate is also folic acid, and the CoQ10 is 10 mg.

Partial
Prostate and immune support

The listing names vitamins A, C and E, selenium, carotenoids and zinc. The panel has A, C, E, selenium and zinc at 73 to 387% DV, and beta carotene, lycopene and lutein for the carotenoids, with saw palmetto at 60 mg. The image carries the standard statement that these claims have not been evaluated by the FDA.

Partial
No fillers

The listing image says no fillers. The other ingredients are dicalcium phosphate, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, silica, ascorbyl palmitate and sodium copper chlorophyllin, and the Veggie Blend lists maltodextrin and corn starch among its components.

Not verified
Third-party tested

The brand FAQ says a US third-party lab tests its products. We found no named lab, no certificate for this product, and no listing for it at NSF.

The Deep Dive

What Our Test Actually Found

01

The B vitamins are mostly active, but the folate is mixed

Methylcobalamin and pyridoxal-5-phosphate are the forms the top of this list uses. The folate is where it slips: folic acid and L-5-methylfolate share the 1,360 mcg DFE and the panel gives no split, so we cannot credit it as a methylfolate product.

02

The testing gap is specific to this bottle

NAKED does hold real NSF listings for its energy powders and its creatine. The Men's Multi is not among them, and its own FAQ says the lab reports are not shared. What the brand says about GMP facilities and an outside lab may well be true, but nothing here lets a buyer confirm it.

03

The men's extras are small

Saw palmetto is 60 mg, CoQ10 is 10 mg, lycopene is 250 mcg and the two plant blends total 130 mg across 22 listed components. Their purpose is to round out an iron-free base, and that is how we score them.

04

Calcium and magnesium are light

Calcium is 80 mg and magnesium 100 mg as oxide, so the bottle is a vitamin and trace-mineral top-up and leaves the bulk minerals to your diet. Biotin, chromium and potassium are not on the panel at all.

Full analysis: all pros & cons (7), buy if / skip if
Pros
  • Methylcobalamin B12, pyridoxal-5-phosphate B6 and MK-4 vitamin K
  • Zinc, copper and molybdenum as bisglycinate or glycinate chelates
  • Iron-free and labelled vegetarian, two capsules a day
  • Moderate fat-soluble doses, D at 2,000 IU
Cons
  • Folate is part folic acid, with no split between the two forms
  • No testing seal for this product; the brand's NSF listings cover other items
  • Saw palmetto 60 mg and CoQ10 10 mg are small, and two blends are totals only
Buy If
  • You want an iron-free, vegetarian two-capsule multi with methylcobalamin and P-5-P
  • You like chelated zinc, copper and molybdenum and moderate fat-soluble doses
  • You want small amounts of CoQ10, lycopene and lutein bundled in
Skip If
  • You want independent verification; Thorne Basic Nutrients is NSF Certified at about $1.07 a day
  • You want a meaningful saw palmetto dose; NOW ADAM lists 160 mg for about $0.49 a day
  • You want methylfolate only; Thorne uses L-5-MTHF with no folic acid

A multivitamin is gap insurance, and what separates the bottles is form quality, restraint on dose, and whether anyone outside the brand has checked the contents. This one is good on the first two and silent on the third. It costs about $1.00 a day, the same ballpark as Thorne, which has methylfolate only and an NSF certification.

NAKED Men's Multi is a two-capsule, iron-free multivitamin with 12 vitamins and 8 minerals plus a set of extras: saw palmetto, CoQ10, lycopene, lutein, astaxanthin and two fruit and vegetable blends. Most of the forms are the active ones. B12 is methylcobalamin, B6 is pyridoxal-5-phosphate, vitamin K is menatetrenone (MK-4), and zinc, copper and molybdenum are chelates. Two things hold it back. The folate is a mix of folic acid and methylfolate with no split given, and magnesium is the oxide. And nothing independent covers this product: NSF lists other NAKED products but not this one, and the brand does not publish lab reports. It is a sound formula at about $1.00 a day, and it lands mid-list, below the picks with active folate and a seal.

The Bottom Line

A sound men's formula, held back by the folate and the missing seal

The formula is well built for an iron-free men's multi: active B12 and B6, chelated minerals, restrained fat-soluble doses. It ranks below Thorne, Pure Encapsulations and Garden of Life because those use methylfolate or a food-form folate and score higher on testing, and below Kirkland on testing. If you want the cleaner formula with a seal, buy the Thorne at about the same price per day.

Frequently Asked

Quick Answers

Does NAKED Men's Multi use methylfolate or folic acid?

Both. The panel lists folate as 1,360 mcg DFE "as Folic Acid and L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate Calcium" and does not say how much comes from each. The B12 is methylcobalamin and the B6 is pyridoxal-5-phosphate, so the rest of the B-vitamin set is in active forms. Because folic acid is part of the folate, we score it below Thorne, which uses methylfolate alone.

Is it NSF certified or third-party tested?

Not as a product. NAKED's site has a collection titled "NSF Certified Protein Powder and Supplements", and its FAQ says several of its products are NSF content certified. NSF's own listing for Naked Whey, Inc. (checked October 18, 2026) names seven products: six Naked Energy pre-workout powders and Naked Creatine. The Men's Multi is not on it, and it is not in the brand's own NSF collection either. The FAQ also says an unnamed US lab tests the products and that the lab reports are not shared with customers.

Does it contain iron?

No. Iron is not on the panel, which is the usual choice for a men's multi.

How much saw palmetto is in it?

60 mg of saw palmetto berry extract per two capsules, with no standardization stated. For comparison, the NOW ADAM panel lists 160 mg. The CoQ10 is 10 mg, lycopene 250 mcg and lutein 500 mcg, so the men's extras are present in small amounts.

Will a multivitamin make me healthier or help me live longer?

A multivitamin fills gaps. In the one big trial in men, a daily multivitamin modestly reduced total cancer incidence and did not change cardiovascular events (Gaziano 2012; Sesso 2012). Nothing on this label changes that picture.

The largest multivitamin RCT ever run — in men, exactly this page's cohort — and the honest ceiling of the cancer claim.
  2. [2] Sesso 2012 (PHS II — cardiovascular) PMID 23117775 — Multivitamins in the prevention of cardiovascular disease in men: the Physicians' Health Study II randomized controlled trial. Same 14,641-man cohort, median 11.2 years: NO significant reduction in major cardiovascular events, MI, stroke, or CV death. The decisive null result for the male buyer — and the reason 'heart health' framing on any men's multivitamin label (One A Day's included) should be read as nutrient support, never as cardiac protection.
  3. [3] Pietrzik 2010 (folate forms) PMID 20608755 — Folic acid and L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate: comparison of clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (methylfolate) is the predominant circulating, biologically active folate; folic acid is a synthetic form that must be enzymatically reduced — a step many people perform inefficiently. The basis for the folate-form split that divides this men's list into methylated and folic-acid products.
