“Pure powder, from konjac root.”
The panel lists glucomannan from konjac root and, under other ingredients, none.

NOW's powder is the same fiber as its capsules without the capsule. The panel lists 2 g of glucomannan per half level teaspoon, about 114 servings in the 8 oz (227 g) jar, and under other ingredients it says: none. Directions mirror the capsule: half a level teaspoon one to two times daily with at least 8 oz. of water, 30 to 45 minutes before a meal, with the same caution about swelling in the throat.
The catch is practical. Glucomannan thickens within a minute or two, so you stir and drink at once.
2 g of glucomannan per serving, one to two times daily before a meal, is inside the studied range; the half-teaspoon measure is approximate and the trials used capsules.
Same printed water rule, timing and choking caution as the capsule; a loose gelling powder asks more care of the user than a capsule does.
GMP Quality Assured seal on the label and Intertek GMP certification in the gallery; packaged and quality tested in the USA; no third-party potency statement.
Other ingredients: none. The cleanest line on the list, offset by a powder that must be stirred into water and drunk before it thickens.
About $0.14 per 2 g serving, the lowest cost per gram here.

“Healthy weight management.”
Fair as a satiety aid inside a diet; the pooled trials did not find significant weight loss from glucomannan alone (Onakpoya 2014).
“Supports regularity.”
Glucomannan is a soluble, bulk-forming fiber; the label states the claim with the standard FDA disclaimer.
Per gram this jar costs less than half of what most of the capsules do. You pay in convenience: the powder has to be measured, stirred into a full glass and drunk immediately, because it sets into a gel.
The choking caution on the jar applies with extra force to loose powder. Mixed into at least 8 oz. of water it is the same fiber the trials used; taken dry it is the form most likely to swell where it should not.
If you are disciplined about stirring half a teaspoon into a full glass of water and drinking it straight away, NOW's powder gives you the studied fiber for pennies. If that sounds like a chore you will skip, buy the capsule; the dose you take is the one that counts.
