Not verified, and we previously said it was. The citation behind our ~29-39% peak-plasma figure was fabricated — the named study, its authors and its journal placement do not exist, and the id attached to it belongs to a paper on small-intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Independent searches of Europe PMC for shilajit against coenzyme Q10, ubiquinol or PrimaVie return no pharmacokinetic trial. The figure originates in Natreon's marketing material. What survives is the Kaneka QH form advantage (Hosoe 2007, PMID 16919858), which is published and which this bottle does deliver.

Most absorption-carrier claims in the CoQ10 category are marketing extrapolation — Qunol's polysorbate-80 surfactant, BioPerine in budget ubiquinone products, proprietary 'micelle' formulations. We used to argue PrimaVie was the exception, on the strength of a head-to-head pharmacokinetic study that turned out not to exist. It belongs in the same bucket as the rest: a manufacturer claim without a published trial. The mechanism is proposed to combine fulvic acid electron-shuttle co-factor activity with mineral-rich support for the downstream Q10 biosynthesis pathway. Real data, replicated in subsequent work — the shilajit carrier is one of the few absorption claims in this category that survives published-evidence scrutiny.
