Pure Encapsulations does what its name says: 200 mg Bacopa monnieri aerial-parts extract standardized to contain 20 percent bacosides per capsule, 180 servings, with hypoallergenic plant fibre, a cellulose vegetarian capsule and ascorbyl palmitate as the only other ingredients. GFCO gluten-free, free from GMOs, soy-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan marks are on the panel. At 200 mg the capsule sits under the 300 mg trial dose, so most people will take two.
200 mg of a generic aerial-parts extract is below the 300 mg trial dose per capsule and not a named trial material; two capsules reach it.
Standardized to contain 20 percent bacosides is printed on the panel.
GFCO gluten-free certification and free-from-GMO marks on the panel; Pure Encapsulations manufactures under GMP, but no third-party statement is printed.
Hypoallergenic plant fibre, cellulose capsule and ascorbyl palmitate; the cleanest, allergen-free formulation on the list.
About $0.31 per capsule, about $0.62 for a trial-dose day; the most expensive per day here.

Consistent with the trials' direction, but at 200 mg per capsule this is below the 300 mg they used unless you take two.
Three excipients, all benign, and a certification row longer than anyone else's. If bacopa has ever upset you and you suspect the fillers, this is the capsule to try.
The trials ran at 300 mg. One Pure capsule is 200 mg; two is 400 mg. Either way you are not at the studied number, and at two a day the cost doubles.
Buy it if allergen-free is non-negotiable and price is not. Take two for a trial-range day. Everyone else gets a closer match to the evidence for less money from Doctor's Best or Swanson.

See it on the list →Twelve weeks of 300 or 600 mg a day of a Bacopa extract improved attention, working memory and cognitive processing speed in healthy older adults and suppressed acetylcholinesterase activity, pointing to a cholinergic mechanism.
A systematic review of six randomized trials concluded that Bacopa monnieri extracts improve memory free recall with consistency, while effects on other cognitive domains were not reliably demonstrated.
