Mavogel Cotton Sleep Mask Review
Most $13 sleep masks cut the same two corners: polyester where the mask meets your face, and no nose seal, so light pours in beside your nose. The Mavogel cuts neither. Its facing is layered natural cotton — the honest budget natural fiber, breathable and gentle on facial skin — and it carries a bendable nose-bridge wire you pinch to the shape of your own nose, the same sealing trick a contoured mask achieves with molding. Together those two choices make it the best cheap mask in our lineup, and one of the most widely owned masks on Amazon, period.
The design's honest ceiling is that it's flat. There are no eye cups: the cotton rests lightly on your closed eyes, which means gentle contact rather than zero pressure, and it's the wrong pick for lash-extension wearers — a flat mask presses the lash line every night. It also can't match the total daylight blackout of the deep-cup contoured picks, though the nose wire gets it far closer than any other flat mask at this price. For a first mask, a travel spare, or a natural-fiber pick at pocket money — this is the one. Here's the breakdown.
